Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026 Document ID: DLI-TOS-2026-V1

Welcome to DNA Labs UAE. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the patient, client, medical practitioner, or institutional partner) and DLI Genetic DNA Lab Fz-LLC. By scheduling an appointment, submitting a biological sample, or utilizing our digital portal, you unequivocally accept these Terms in full.

1. Nature of Specialized Testing Services

DLI Genetic DNA Lab Fz-LLC operates a high-complexity molecular processing laboratory within Dubai Healthcare City. We specialize in genetic, genomic, and highly analytical pathology profiles. Our services are analytical pathways meant to assist healthcare professionals; they do not replace formal clinical assessment, physical examination, or holistic medical evaluation.

2. Scientific Limitations & Statistical Variance

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that molecular biology, genetics, and clinical pathology are subject to natural, biological, and technical complexities. While rare, the user recognizes and accepts the following scientific realities:

  • Mathematical & Analytical Variations: Minute mathematical calculations, algorithmic sequencing models, and baseline bioinformatic thresholds can naturally vary. Genetic profiles are evaluated based on the current globally accepted scientific benchmarks, which remain subject to evolution.
  • Pre-Analytical Variables & Collection Impact: The physiological state of the patient, the precise timing of sample collection (e.g., fasting state, gestational age for NIPT, diurnal hormonal cycles), and environmental exposures can directly impact biological metrics and raw values.
  • Biological Interference: Unforeseen physiological factors, such as low fetal fraction, underlying maternal medical conditions, mosaicism, prior blood transfusions, or bone marrow transport histories can cause localized anomalies or obscure genetic readings.

3. No Warranty & Technical Test Failures

DNA Labs UAE executes meticulous quality control protocols under our ISO 9001:2015 framework. However, due to the sensitive nature of nucleic acid extraction and cellular amplification, we cannot and do not guarantee an absolute or deterministic test result outcome.

Technical test failures, sample degradation during transit, or insufficient cellular yield (low DNA/RNA mass) may happen. In such cases, the laboratory reserves the right to request a new biological sample or apply the provisions stated inside our official Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Mandatory Clinical Review Requirement

No diagnostic report generated by DNA Labs UAE should be acted upon, interpreted, or integrated into a clinical treatment plan without the explicit review of a certified, licensed physician.

Genetic and pathology reports are highly complex clinical data layers. Direct consumer translation or self-diagnosis is strictly discouraged. It is an absolute condition of this service that patients consult their referring doctor, genetic counselor, or healthcare institution to safely interpret the implications of any variant detections, phenotypes, or marker metrics.

5. Absolute Limitation of Legal Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai Healthcare City regulatory structures, DLI Genetic DNA Lab Fz-LLC, its executive directors, clinical scientists, phlebotomy staff, and operational entities shall not be held legally liable, financially responsible, or subject to medical malpractice claims for any outcomes, interpretations, actions, or omissions based on the data provided in our lab reports.

Under no circumstances shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Decisions made regarding pregnancies, prophylactic surgeries, lifestyle choices, or pharmaceutical changes based on genetic screening.
  • Biological or analytical variations within accepted international scientific error margins.
  • Decisions or interpretation delays made by third-party B2B clinical partners or primary care physicians.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdictions

These Terms are constructed, executed, and governed strictly in accordance with the regulatory mandates of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and applicable federal frameworks including Federal Decree-Law No. 41 of 2024 (Art. 87). Any disputes, arbitrations, or legal claims must be exclusively submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts within Dubai Healthcare City, UAE.
