Sample Condition
To perform the test, we require the following samples:
- 3 mL (minimum 1 mL) of whole blood in 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube
- 5 mL (minimum 3 mL) of serum from 1 SST (Serum Separator Tube)
- Nasopharyngeal swab / Nasal wash swab / Aspirate specimens swab in a special Viral transport medium (VTM) available from LPL
Please ensure that the samples are shipped refrigerated and not frozen. Overnight fasting is preferred. Additionally, kindly fill the Covid-19 Clinical Information Form (Form 44) or provide the SRF ID as mandated by GOI (Government of India).
Report Delivery
The test samples are processed daily, and the reports are delivered by 11 am the next day.
