Test Details

The AUTOGEN PLUS PANEL test is a diagnostic tool used to assess the functioning of various body systems and identify any imbalances or deficiencies. It is a comprehensive panel that includes multiple tests to evaluate different aspects of health.

The AUTOGEN PLUS PANEL test typically includes tests for:

1. Complete Blood Count (CBC): This test measures the number of red and white blood cells, as well as platelets, in the blood. It provides information about overall health, including the presence of infections, anemia, and other blood disorders.

2. Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): This test evaluates kidney and liver function, as well as electrolyte and fluid balance. It includes measurements of blood glucose, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, etc.), and liver enzymes.

3. Lipid Panel: This test measures levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It helps assess the risk of heart disease and provides information about overall cardiovascular health.

4. Thyroid Function Tests: These tests measure the levels of thyroid hormones (TSH, T3, T4) in the blood. They are used to evaluate thyroid function and diagnose conditions such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.

5. Vitamin D Levels: This test measures the level of vitamin D in the blood. Vitamin D is important for bone health and immune function.

6. Iron Levels: This test measures the amount of iron in the blood. It helps diagnose conditions such as iron deficiency anemia.

7. Inflammation Markers: These tests measure markers of inflammation in the blood, such as C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Elevated levels of these markers can indicate inflammation in the body.

8. Kidney Function Tests: These tests evaluate kidney function by measuring levels of creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in the blood. They help diagnose kidney disease and monitor its progression.

9. Liver Function Tests: These tests measure liver enzymes, such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), as well as bilirubin levels. They assess liver function and diagnose liver diseases.

The AUTOGEN PLUS PANEL test provides a comprehensive overview of various body systems and can help identify underlying health issues. It is often used as part of a routine health checkup or to investigate specific symptoms or concerns. The results of the test can guide further diagnostic and treatment decisions.
